We chose this hotel for two reasons. Firstly, we wanted to visit friends in Tokyo, Yokohama, and Shonan, and Kawasaki seemed like a good centre for this, and it worked out well. Only a short and interesting walk from the stations. Secondly, we loved the idea of an onsen in the middle of a city. The onsen lived up to expectations. Some days I used it three times (I don't like saunas, so didn't use it). The Yakult and free ice-cream was a welcome treat. Never needed to use the room shower! And the washing machines were free, and ¥100 dried the clothes. As a result we returned to the UK with almost no dirty laundry! Room cleaning was at our discretion, and worked very well, as did towel and sheet replacement. The Superior Queen room was very comfortable for an extended stay. We didn't use the hotel breakfast, or free ramen, but appreciated the integrated 7-11 which allowed us to create our own breakfasts. There were even microwaves available if we'd wanted to use them to heat up food (we didn't). And many choices of places to eat around the hotel. The izakaya around the place offered a wonderful selection of food. Staff very helpful and cooperative, especially on the last day when we needed to use our room, and a taxi for a night flight from Haneda.

Really great onsen -- we loved it so much, we extended our stay for another week. Be careful not to get the water in your eyes since my wife and I both got an eye infection. They provide free ramen in the evening (you can ask for more). There is an attached 7-Eleven so you can buy stuff for the ramen and make it a meal. For one week, we bought the breakfast and it had shrimp tempura, which I love. Amenities included yokut, massage chairs, manga reading, toothbrushes, toothpaste, matcha powder. The water fountain in the onsen dressing room seems filtered (it tastes a lot better than tap), so if you buy a 1.5L mineral water bottle, you can refill it using the water fountain. I like to put 6 packets of matcha in 1.5L of water and keep it refrigerated -- very refreshing.

Clean facilities (hot spring, breakfast/ramen area, the room, the lounge, the lobby), super helpful staff that I had a very pleasant stay here. There's 7 Eleven next to the reception. Convenient. Less than 10 minutes' walk from/to JR and Keikyu Kawasaki station. Close to Haneda International Airport. The housekeepers are amazing! The breakfast buffet is awesome! Japanese (with seafood bar. You can create your own chirashi bowl!), Western and a bit of Chinese (congee, dumplings...). Washing machine is free as well (you don't need to buy/bring the detergent. Dryer costs minimum of 200 yen). The hot spring is the best part! Soak. Rest. Enjoy the view *you might see Mt. Fuji early in the morning ;)

I really like its about 10--15 mins walk from the Kawasaki station, then you can go to anywhere, say 20 mins to Haneda and 40 mins to the most of touristy sites in Tokyo.. Why pay the Tokyo rate, when you can stay at a hot spring hotel like this, where I came from, what I paid here cant even get me to say Motel 6. Hot Spring at the top floor, its very relax at night to wind down the day. I only tried the Soba noodle after 9:30pm once, good way to save money, it's included. Before this trip, I didnt know this Dormy chain, pretty sure I will use it at Kyoto and other towns.

Yijie

As usual for all dormy chain, room is clean, with all amenities that I need. Nice onsen, free night ramen, ice-cream, etc. Staff is very helpful and polite. I stay at in most of my trips to Japan. Room size 20m2 at this price is also very good. You get a bit more space to place luggage and pack your stuff. A bit out side of Tokyo center but transportation is very convenient, so there is no problem. Direct bus available to Mitsui Outlet Kisarazu, only takes 45 mins. Many shopping malls, restaurant near Kawasaki station.
